Technomous awarded the first TÜV SÜD Germany ISO26262 Functional Safety lifecycle process certification, in the field of Autonomous Driving i-ECU platform in China

Technomous, a joint venture between SAIC Motor Corporation and TTTech Auto, has reached another notable milestone in China. It has received the first functional safety lifecycle process certification in China by TÜV SÜD Germany. This certification according to the ISO26262 standard was awarded in the field of Autonomous Driving i-ECU platforms. This certification proves that Technomous has established a complete Product Development Process System that meets the highest "ASIL D" level for vehicle functional safety. This certificate has solidified Technomous’ leading position in the field of Intelligent Driving Control in China. 

The certification ceremony was held on 27 September, and was attended by Jakob Bleckmann, Chairman of TTTech's Supervisory Board of Directors; Harald Triplat, Board Member of Technomous; Zhang Ping, General Manager of Technomous; Christian Schlaeffer, Deputy General Manager of Technomous; Freddy Paz Petit, Head of Quality Management North Asia TÜV SÜD, as well as other high profile leaders.
