The PM family is a flexible and powerful data logger product line that fulfills all requirements for logging traditional and modern networking architectures for software-defined vehicles. The data logger family supports the entire automotive development cycle to ensure, improve and accelerate testing to record complete vehicle data with a central and precise timestamp. The major objective is to support clients’ becoming more agile while significantly reducing their test operation costs.

• User-friendly configuration: The Data Logger configuration tool ensures an easy and fast configuration of the data logger for recording vehicle data
• Open programmability: Freely programmable using C/C+ to be flexible for covering on- demand specific use cases  
• Various SW applications: The data logger family already provides a wide range of useful additional features for diagnostic, audio logging, GPS logging, video recording, filtering the data, setting Trigger by events (Button, Signals etc.), and live visualization of signals
• Central time stamp: Precise measurements with a central time stamp resolution of less than 100nsec
• High-performance logging: Data logging with a bandwidth of up to 10Gb/s
• Feet Management: Data Logger monitoring and health check of the entire fleet. Remote connection to the Data Logger allows access and download of filtered data during test runs and test drives of the vehicle fleet.

The PM-200 and PM-300 data logger support logging of video traffic through external video sensors connected via Ethernet. The data logger records the video stream into the same trace file as the vehicle data with a common central timestamp. The video data can be easily converted into a separate file using the TTX-Data Logger Tool. Both the TTX-DataLogger installer version and portable version can be downloaded from our Customer Portal.

The PM-200 and PM-300 data logger family  and the capture modules PT-15B and PT-20MG support different power consumption options for various uses cases as vehicle sleep mode and battery protection.
