Your tasks:
Train Execution: Oversee the execution of tasks within the Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring that project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time. This includes planning, coordinating, and monitoring the progress of projects, and ensuring that teams adhere to timelines and quality standards.
Responsible for Train Performance: Ensure the Agile Release Train (ART) meets its performance objectives, including throughput, reliability, and quality. Monitor and report on train performance metrics, and drive initiatives to improve these metrics continuously. Be a role model and mentor to the teams, guiding them towards excellence in performance and quality.
Team Collaboration: Facilitate and guide the operational work of the teams within the release train, ensuring alignment with the overall program objectives and priorities. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning among teams and stakeholders.
Built-in Quality: Champion built-in quality practices within the release train. Ensure that all teams adhere to quality standards and best practices, and drive initiatives to improve the quality of deliverables.
Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements and increase throughput and reliability of the Agile Release Train, facilitating retrospectives and other feedback mechanisms to identify areas for improvement at the train level.
Impediment Resolution: Lead the resolution of impediments within the release train and escalate impediments that cannot be resolved at the train level.
Cross-train Collaboration: Collaborate with the Solution Train Engineer (STE) on cross-train improvements and standardization, as well as with product owners, scrum masters, chief architects, and other stakeholders to ensure well-aligned release train process execution.
Servant Leadership: Act as a servant leader and coach to agile teams and stakeholders, guiding them in adopting Agile principles and practices, offering advice, aiding in problem-solving, and encouraging a culture of efficiency, collaboration, and learning.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the program's successful delivery, steering the Agile Release Train (ART) towards its objectives.
Program Increment Planning: Assist and organize the planning of the Program Increment (PI), guiding the work of the teams and ensuring everyone understands their commitments and dependencies.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with processes and procedures are followed by teams in the train, taking corrective actions in case of non-compliance. Provide L2 support for process execution to ensure adherence to established protocols.
Adaptability: Stay abreast of the latest developments in agile methodologies, tools, and best practices to effectively manage and optimize processes within the Agile Release Train, ensuring adaptability to industry standards and technologies.
Your role:
University Degree in Engineering and/or relevant field.
SW Development background and 4-5 years of experience in similar roles and background in Embedded Software projects.
Experience with Agile Frameworks.
Organization, teamwork, self-awareness, and adaptability skills.
Ability to drive technical discussions at the software requirement level.
