As Quality Engineer in the automotive industry, you will cover the planning and systematic means for assuring management that defined automotive standards, practices, procedures and methods of the process are applied.

Your Tasks:

• Establishing quality policy and quality objectives and achieving those objectives
• Quality improvement activities including tracking, analyzing, reporting and problem-solving using recognized quality tools
• Conducting quality assurance in the field of automotive evaluations and must not be the person who develops the software or product or who is responsible for the software product, which, however, does not preclude the person from taking part in these evaluations
• Assuring compliance with the project plan, as well as initiating and verify corrective actions
• Continuous training of the team to ensure good knowledge about automotive standards, procedures, and practices
• Work with engineering and other departments to develop control plans and work instructions for new and revised product

Your Profile:

• Technical education (M.Sc.) with a focus on software
• Knowledge of embedded SW development, SW architecture, and testing (covering the whole V-model)
• A professional with a strong experience in embedded development where are covering the following areas:
• Experience in embedded software development, preferably in safety- and security-critical environments in the automotive sector
• Knowledge of coding guidelines, secure and safe coding, code reviews, code analysis and related tools
• Experience in applying Automotive SPICE methodologies in embedded software projects
• Knowledge of ISO 26262, ISO 21434 and agile development methodologies
• Experience with 8D reports
• Automation of quality metrics
• Understanding of MISRA C rules and HIS metrics
• Know how to prepare and coordinate Quality Audits, Process Audits
• Know how to coordinate Preventive and Corrective Actions
• Know how to prepare and perform review meetings and make review reports
• Understanding of Key Performance Indicators
• Very good moderation and communication skills
• Very good command of the English language
