We are looking for a Linux Software Developer who can provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
Your Tasks:
- Customize and optimize the Linux kernel to meet the specific requirements of the automotive environment, including performance enhancements, hardware support, and security hardening
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and application developers, to integrate the Linux-based software stack into the overall automotive system architecture
- Implement robust security measures and safety-critical features in the Linux-based software, adhering to industry standards and best practices for automotive cybersecurity and functional safety
- Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans. Conduct testing and validation activities to ensure the reliability and quality of the Linux-based software components
- Promoting best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement in Linux software development for automotive applications
Your Profile:
- Strong experience in Linux system design and architecture for embedded systems in the automotive domain
- In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel internals, including device drivers, memory management, process scheduling, and power management
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming for Linux, with a solid understanding of low-level software development
- Experience in Autosar system design and architecture for embedded systems in the automotive domain
- Hands-on experience with board bring-up, bootloader customization, and Linux distribution selection for embedded platforms
- Familiarity with automotive-specific protocols and interfaces such as CAN, Ethernet, FlexRay, and LIN
- Understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and their integration with Linux
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations related to cybersecurity (e.g., ISO 21434, AUTOSAR) and functional safety (e.g., ISO 26262)
